Diving sites Eel Garden

We begin the dive on the west end of the Menjangan Fall. Contemplate Denise pygmy seahorses on a gorgon at 19 meters, then a Toad fish at 21 meters in a filamentous sponge. The wall is beautiful and exposed to the currents. It is at the end of this wall that we cross the most pelagic fish and sharks. Continuing after the end of the wall, one arrives on the high ground next to the garden of eels. The high ground is lined with beautiful gorgonians of all colors.

The Channel: Entry in open water, bottom 20 meters, we arrive directly on the high ground. It is necessary to know the site well as there is no marker buoy. We visit the eel garden. We continue following the relief at a depth of twenty meters, then we arrive on a slope full of corals, then in the channel strewn with coral potatoes. It is possible to dive all the channel in drift when the current makes us drift towards the south (towards Bali). Be careful to plan this drift dive, only for experienced divers.

Accessibility

Boat access 20 minutes from Labuan Lalang, 40 minutes from Pemuteran, Eels Garden is located in the channel between Menjangan Island, and Peninsula Park Bali Barat National Park.

Fauna

You will be able to swim with schools of trevallies, green turtles, dogtooth, white tip and black tip sharks, scorpion fish, cuttlefish, scorpionfish.

Flora

Come admire Gorgonians over 2 meters, as well as species of hard corals very many, red, yellow, black, blue, beige, orange, green, and many others. Evolve in the gorgonian fields on the wall, on the high ground and the channel that separates Menjangan from Bali.

Depth

The wall descends vertically up to 30 meters deep, and very interesting up to 25 meters. Highlands from 20 to 25 meters.
